The educational program “Advanced Digital Applications Specialist (Artificial Intelligence AI, Virtual Reality VR, Augmented Reality AR, User Experience UX Designer)” provides a thorough training in the latest digital application technologies and their application in tourism. Trainees will learn to develop and implement solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Internet of Things and design optimal user experiences. The programme combines theoretical knowledge and practical skills, equipping trainees with the necessary tools to be innovators in the digital world.
The purpose and objective of this programme is to provide trainees with a full understanding of AI, VR, AR, and IoT technologies, strengthening their skills in the design, development and deployment of digital applications and user experiences, especially in the tourism sector.

At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
• understand the basic principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• develop Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) applications
• design and optimise the user experience (UX)
• utilise Internet of Things (IoT) technologies
• apply these technologies in the tourism sector.
Academic Supervisors’ Details
The author of the educational material is Mrs. Eleni Kotali. Ms. Kotali is a graduate of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. She specialized in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence and Software Design. She has been working for five years in the private sector as a Computer Engineer. During this time she has held research and management positions in several European research projects (H2020, Eramsus+, ESPA) in areas such as Green Technology, Smart Factories, Health and Tourism among others. In addition, she has participated and presented in numerous research conferences and seminars.
