Introduction

There is the option to be certified by the Inspection, Certification and Training Organization TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD).

Purpose - Objective

The purpose of the training program ” General Data Protection (GDPR/DPO) “ is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills so that participants become familiar with the procedures for the protection of personal data. The main objective is to understand and familiarize the participants with the basic concepts as well as the practices that constitute the new framework for the processing of personal data in order for companies and organizations to meet their new requirements.

The programme is implemented by the method of distance asynchronous tele-education, is 400 hours long and does not require the physical presence of the trainees.

Intended participants

This specific educational programme is intended for:

  • Executives of Public Organisations.
  • All senior and non-senior business executives who are involved in the processing and use of personal data.
  • Lawyers, Law firms and Legal consultants as well as Law school graduates.
  • Executives who hold or will hold the position of Data Protection Officer (DPO).
  • GDPR implementation team members.
  • Executives of the public sector (local authorities, NPAs, NPIs, public companies, public enterprises, etc.).
  • All senior and non-senior business executives who are involved in the processing and use of personal data, such as Marketing Management, Administration, Financial Management, IT Managers, Security Officers, etc. In particular IT and Communication Executives, Banking Institutions, Telecommunication Companies, Pharmaceutical Companies and Healthcare Facilities.
  • Lawyers, Law firms and Legal consultants as well as Law school graduates.
